Ajiri Alibo isn’t just another insurance advisor—he’s someone who truly understands the challenges and rewards of starting fresh. When Ajiri and his family moved to Canada, they faced a whirlwind of emotions. Imagine landing in the middle of a Canadian winter after leaving a much warmer climate, only to discover that your family is about to grow from two kids to five overnight, thanks to triplets on the way. It was a time of excitement and anxiety, but it also marked the beginning of a new chapter.
With an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK and over a decade of experience as an HR professional, including roles with the United Nations and other multinational companies, Ajiri was no stranger to hard work. He became an Associate Member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) Edmonton Chapter, contributing his expertise as a committee member. Before joining Greatway Financials, he served as the Director of Human Resources at Allison Jones Consulting Inc.
But Ajiri’s journey took a transformative turn when he began studying for his insurance exams. It was then that he realized how many people lacked awareness of the Canadian financial system. This realization sparked a deep passion in him—a desire to help others understand the importance of having a solid financial plan and the right insurance strategies in place.
Stepping into the role of a full-time Insurance Advisor was a life-changing decision for Ajiri, and one that he describes as the best he’s ever made at Greatway Financials Inc., Ajiri found the perfect platform to pursue his mission of helping families across Canada secure their financial futures. He’s built a team of over 100 licensed advisors, and together they’ve provided personalized financial solutions to more than 2,000 families. For Ajiri, it’s about more than just numbers; it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.
